Elon Musk is again facing backlash after sharing a social media post that appeared to endorse calls for “White solidarity."

On Thursday (January 8), Musk reposted a message on X warning that “White men” would face deadly consequences if they became a minority in the United States. Musk added a “100” emoji to the repost, marking an apparent sign of approval.

The original post read in part, “If White men become a minority, we will be slaughtered,” and argued that “White solidarity is the only way to survive,” claiming non-White groups would become “1000x times more hostile and cruel” if they held majority power.

Musk's controversial post comes nearly a year after the Tesla CEO drew widespread backlash for making a one-armed gesture during President Donald Trump’s inauguration events in January 2025. The gesture was compared to a Nazi salute, though Musk denied the allegation.

“Frankly, they need better dirty tricks,” Musk said at the time. “The ‘everyone is Hitler’ attack is sooo tired.”

Weeks later, however, Musk made multiple Nazi-related wordplays while discussing the backlash during an appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience," referencing Adolf Hitler and Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels in what he described as jokes.
