Megan Thee Stallion appeared in public for the first time since the Tory Lanez trial ended.

On Sunday (March 12), Meg was spotted on the carpet of the Vanity Fair After Party following the 2023 Oscars, rocking a black mermaid gown.

Inside the Oscars after party, the Houston rapper was pictured dancing the night away alongside Seth Rogen, Bronwyn Golden Vance, Slater Josiah Vance, Courtney B. Vance, and Angela Bassett, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. At one point during the festivities, Rogen introduced Megan to filmmaker Sarah Polley, who stuck out her hand to shake while embracing the Academy Award she won earlier that night.

“I don’t want to shake your Oscar hand,” Meg told Polley, per Vanity Fair.

The rapper has laid low since Lanez was found guilty of shooting her in the foot after a nearly two-week trial in December. Lanez was charged with felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm, possession of a concealed, unregistered firearm, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence in the shooting that took place following a July 12, 2020 get-together at Kylie Jenner's home.

The Canadian rapper faces up to 22 years in prison and deportation. He's expected to receive his sentence on April 10.
